Arra group opening 50 hotels in U’khand

Arra hotel group will open about 50 hotels under lease contract in Uttarakhand in the next three months. Contracts have been signed for six hotels so far in Nainital and nearby locations. The group’s managing director Anshu Malik and joint director Nidhi Mathur Malik informed the media that they had started their career at the Manu Maharani hotel in Nainital. Having started their own company, they aim to also stall migration in Uttarakhand for which they plan to open 50 hotels in most cities of the state in the next three months. The group is operating about a dozen hotels currently with local youths being employed in these. About 500 youth who had studied hotel management are being trained and 500 youth will be employed by the group in the next six months, they said. The duo said that 21 years after Uttarakhand’s creation, development is missing in the tourism sector while migration is continuing. Stating their plans for Uttarakhand as their dream project, Malik said that he has come to Uttararakhand to achieve his vision. He said that every person working in the group is a shareholder of the company, adding that employees working with the sense of being the owner will ensure progress of the company. Uttarakhand area director Deepak Matiyali, hotel general manager Deepak Rawat and others were also present on the occasion.
