Jan Seva programmes to mark one-year of Dhami government

 ‘Jan Seva’ programmes will be held to mark one year of the State government under chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Additional chief secretary Radha Raturi has issued directions for necessary arrangements for these programmes. According to officials, to mark completion of one year in office by the Dhami government, multipurpose camps and medical camps will be held on the theme of ‘Jan Seva’ in the district headquarters on March 23.

The main event will be held in Dehradun district. The programmes will include release of a development booklet, multipurpose camp and medical camp. The ministers in-charge will preside over the functions in the districts and the MP will preside over the event which the minister is unable to attend. In the multipurpose camps, information will be provided about availability of services provided to citizens and the schemes and services of various departments along with free health check up and distribution of medicines.

The CM will address the event to be held in Dehradun and the same will be broadcast live in the programmes to be held in all the district headquarters. The district magistrates will facilitate arrangements for the multipurpose camp and medical camp to be held in the districts. Raturi further said that programmes showcasing the State’s folk dances, folk songs and folk arts should also be organised at the event venue. In addition to the events on March 23, multipurpose and medical camps will be held from March 24 to 30 in every Vidhan Sabha/block level. Fixing the dates for these events, the authorities will undertake elaborate publicity so that the maximum number of citizens can benefit from the same.
