Haridwar police arrested an abduction and rape accused involving a minor when he was trying to flee his village to evade arrest. Earlier, the police had rescued the minor while the accused was absconding.
As per police, a resident of Buggawala police station limits lodged a complaint on April 30 against Nadeem, resident of Banjarewala, accusing him of luring and kidnapping his minor daughter and raping her.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the accused from near Arshiwad wedding point in Haridwar.
