The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at The Asian School with verve on Friday with the flag hoisting event, speeches and musical presentations.
In her address after the flag-hoisting ceremony, the principal Ruchi Pradhan Datta expounded on the unique features of the Indian Constitution and urged the students to learn how the Constitution helped India embark on its journey as a sovereign, democratic republic.
Besides, speeches were delivered on the significance of the day by class IX student Anwesha Mamgain and class XI student Atharv Saini. Earlier, the school choir presented patriotic songs on the beats of Jai, Jai, Bharat Mata.
