Anchal to become No 1 brand of milk in U’khand- Minister

The animal husbandry and dairy development minister Saurabh Bahuguna has said that a modern dairy plant of the capacity 1.5 lakh litres would be set up in Lalkuan at a cost of Rs 61.74 Crore. He was addressing the 73rd annual general body meeting of the Nainital Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh (NDUSS)  Lalkuan here on Wednesday. The minister said that the new plant would help in making Anchal the leading brand of milk in the State.

He expressed hope that the NDUSS would emerge as the biggest centre of milk production in the State. The Kaladhungi MLA Bansidhar Bhagat, chairman of the federation Mukesh Bora, general manager N N Singh, district panchayat president Bela Tolia and others were present on the occasion.
