AAP enrols 3.5 Lakh in employment scheme

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed to register more than 3.5 lakh youths under its Rozgar Guarantee Abhiyan in Uttarakhand since its launch on October 7. The state spokesman of the party Naveen Pirshali informed that the party is receiving great response from the youths of all districts. He said that the party has conducted 4,378 public meetings on employment rights with the help of 7,000 party workers across the state. He said that these workers have registered a total of 3,55,887 unemployed youths in 16 days of the campaign by approaching rural households in all districts. He said that about 22,000 youths are registering themselves under this campaign on a daily basis.

As per the data released by the party, the top three districts with high registrations are Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun and Haridwar with 67,879, 60,129 and 59,402 registrations respectively. The top three districts with low registrations are Bageshwar, Champawat and Rudraprayag with 10,845, 7,201 and 7,569 registrations respectively. He said that such registrations will help the unemployed people to get jobs or the allowance of Rs 5,000 till they get the jobs when AAP wins the 2022 state assembly elections. 

Pirshali also added that the national convener of AAP and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal made six announcements regarding the employment issues of youths during his last visit to Uttarakhand and the party’s CM candidate Ajay Kothiyal is getting great reaction and the immense support of youths for these promises during his Rozgar Guarantee Yatra. “Kothiyal has already travelled in nine assemblies of Kumaon region to carry Kejriwal’s promises to every household and has received massive support. He will continue this work in the remaining state assemblies too to reach maximum people who need a better party to administer Uttarakhand,” stated Pirshali.
