The Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development minister Surabh Bahuguna launched Aanchal ice cream.He assured that all possible efforts will be made to augment the income of farmers through Aanchal, adding that the interests of the dairy producers will remain untouched. Uttarakhand cooperatives dairy federation administrator and Nainital dairy association chairman Mukesh Bora said that following the launch, all dairy associations in the state have starting selling Aanchal ice creams. The Nainital association had already made arrangements for marketing Aanchal. The ice cream comes in 17 flavours including butterscotch, chocolate,mango dolley,Kesar Pista and various other flavours starting in cost from Rs 10 to Rs 700 a pack. The Nainital dairy association has already identified select Aanchal outlets in various localities.
