Roorkee MLA Pradeep Batra along with joint magistrate Anshul Singh felicitated sanitation workers at an event organised by Samarpan organisation in Roorkee. Singh appreciated the work done by the organisation stating that it had been active for the past 23 years doing works connected to Kanwadiyas, the police and local administration.
MLA Pradeep Batra appreciated the sanitation workers. He said that the Kanwad Yatra was passing smoothly through Roorkee due to the efforts of the sanitation workers. He said that the sanitation workers were consistently cleaning the roads which had also made the journey of the Kanwadiyas convenient. The MLA also presented an award of Rs 3,100 to the team of sanitation workers on the occasion.
