The State Cabinet minister, Dhan Singh Rawat, while on Nainital district tour, inspected the ongoing slope treatment work in the landslide-affected Baliyanala area. While asking all concerned to complete the work on time, he stressed on doing the same at more landslide-sensitive places.
Also, he met locals and assured them that special care would be taken to ensure that the populated areas are not affected during the treatment work.
He also directed the Irrigation department to work as per the suggestions of the technical agency.
