Congress appoints Vidhan Sabha in-charges for Panchayat polls

Uttarakhand Congress has appointed assembly constituency in-charges for the Panchayat elections.

The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Suryakant Dhasmana said that the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has handed over the responsibilities to the senior leaders after approval of the State in- charge Kumari Selja.

He said that the PCC president has appointed Ghananand Nautiyal as in- charge for Purola, Vihari Lal for Yamunotri, Manoj Rawat for Badrinath, Devidutt Kuniyal for Tharali,  Jeet Ram for Karnprayag, Surendra Singh Bisht for Kedarnath, Jagmohan Bhandari for Rudraprayag, Mahendra Singh Negi for Narendra Nagar and Virendra Kandari for Pratap Nagar assembly constituency.  

Similarly  Shanti Prasad Bhatt will  be incharge of Dhanaulti, Sanjay Kishore of Chakrata, Pradeep Joshi of Vikasnagar, Jagdish Dhiman of Sahaspur, Sunil Jaiswal of Raipur and Hema Purohit of Mussoorie.

Dhasmana said that all districts and assembly-in- charges have been directed to visit their districts/ assembly segments and work in coordination with local leaders to ensure victory of the candidates supported by the Congress in the three tier Panchayat elections.
