Swami Ramdev celebrates the day in Kurukshetra

Various units of Patanjali, including Patanjali Yogpeeth, Patanjali Research Institute, University of Patanjali, Patanjali Ayurved College, Acharyakulam, Patanjali Gurukulam, Patanjali Ayurveda, Patanjali Gramodyog Trust, Patanjali Food and Herbal Park and Divya Pharmacy, celebrated the International Yoga Day enthusiastically on Saturday. The officers, employees and students among others participated in the commemorative celebration in large numbers.  This year the theme of International Yoga Day was ‘One Earth, One Health’, emphasising the intrinsic connection between individual well-being and the health of the planet.

While coordinating the programmes, the service head, Patanjali Wellness, Swami Bajrangdev said that yoga is not just exercise but a life style suitable for overall health,

Notably, the Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna and the Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini led the programme held at Brahmasarovar in Kurukshetra. Over one lakh yoga practitioners created a new record by practising yoga together in Kurukshetra.

Along with this, free yoga training was imparted under the Common Yoga Protocol in all the 650 districts of the country through Patanjali Yoga Samiti.
