One more Covid-19 patient found in Doon

One new case of Covid-19 was reported in Dehradun on Sunday. It increased the cumulative number of positive Covid-19 cases in Dehradun to 55.
The State nodal officer for the integrated diseases surveillance programme (IDSP) Dr Pankaj Singh said that there are at present only six active cases of the disease in the probsoonal State capital.
In view of the increasing cases of the disease the Health department had recently issued an advisory for Covid-19. The department has started a campaign for creating public awareness about Covid-19. This initiative will provide information on the ‘Dos’ and ‘Don’ts’.
The ‘Dos’ include covering the nose and mouth with a handkerchief or tissue while sneezing or coughing, avoiding crowded places and washing hands thoroughly with soap and water. On the other hand, the ‘Don’ts’ include not reusing used tissues or handkerchiefs, avoiding handshakes and maintaining distance from individuals who exhibit symptoms of illness, among other precautions.
