The prevailing confusion over the election schedule of the three tier Panchayati Raj bodies in 12 districts of the State (barring Haridwar) is expected to clear after June 19, the date on which the State Panchayati Raj directorate will submit the final list of the reservation status of the Panchayati Raj bodies in the 12 districts of the State to the State Election Commission. The interim reservation status of the Panchayati Raj bodies was released on Friday after which the administration of these districts invited objections on the reservation status of the bodies from individuals on June 14 and 15. On June 16 and 17, the respective district magistrates will dispose off the objections after which the final reservation status will be published on June 18. The reservation status of the Panchayat bodies is based on the census of 2011.
