In latest news from Uttarakhand, while the high-altitude areas in Adi Kailash/Om Parvat region (14,500 feet) have been experiencing continuous snowfall it has been drizzling intermittently in the low -lying areas of Darma and Vyas Valley for the past two days. The Kailash Parvat region is learnt to have received three inches of snowfall.
The home stay operators from Darma Valley said that the rain and snow have been affecting them in 14 villages, including Dantu. The vehicle operators also said that the sudden weather change has been inconveniencing the tourists.
