In latest news from Uttarakhand, the district magistrate, Tehri, Mayur Dixit chaired a meeting of the district Ganga committee here on Monday during which several issues like Tapovan 3.5 MLD STP, Ganga Vatika Park under Muni-ki-Reti area under Namami Gange programme and various activities slated on the occasion of World Environment Day were taken up for discussion.
On the basis of the inspection report provided by the NMCG and SMCG teams regarding the construction and maintenance of Ganga Vatika Park under Muni Ki Reti area, the DM directed the executive officer of the Muni Ki Reti municipal council to get the work completed through the contractor concerned within a week.
