In latest news from Uttarakhand, a youth identified as Vinod Kumar (35) was killed in a tiger attack at Pirumadara in Terai West under Ramnagar forest division on Monday morning. The tiger ambushed him when he along with some villagers had gone to collect firewood. Notably, there was a marriage ceremony in his village and so firewood was required. The tiger pounced on him at Kamdevpur village located on the edge of forest and dragged him 100 meter inside the forest. Later, his blood-splattered body was recovered.
