The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) has once again reaffirmed its status as India’s premier military preparatory institution with a commendable performance in the UPSC NDA written examination 2025(I), held in April. Out of 34 cadets who appeared for the exam, 28 cadets have successfully qualified the written stage—a high success rate that speaks volumes of the academic strength and training ethos of the institution.

According to the college officials, this achievement builds on the recent stellar performance by RIMC cadets in successive NDA entries, including the rare distinction of producing multiple All India Rank-1 holders. Such consistent performance underscores an upward trajectory in outcomes, rooted in the college’s focus on quality, merit and mission readiness.

The college credits the performance of its cadets to a framework of disciplined preparation, academic rigour and holistic mentorship. The cadets undergo a demanding regimen that balances classroom instruction with strategic thinking, personality development, and leadership training. The credit for this sustained success goes to the unstinted support of Army Training Command as also tireless efforts of the faculty under the leadership of RIMC commandant, colonel Rahul Agarwal, whose emphasis on academic excellence combined with character building continues to shape future military leaders of India, the officials said.

Further adding to the celebrations, 28 cadets from the previous semester (NDA-2, 2024) have successfully cleared their SSB interviews and are now set to join the pre-commissioning training academies – another feather in RIMC’s cap. Their journey from cadets to future officers of the armed forces stands as a beacon of motivation for the current batch.

Comprehensive SSB preparation programmes, including group tasks, psychological assessments and interview simulations, are already underway at the college to ensure that the current qualifiers are well-equipped for the next phase of selection.

This string of successes is not just an academic milestone; it is a testament to the core values that RIMC instills in its cadets—discipline, perseverance, service before self, and unwavering patriotism.
