Minister names several temples for tourism circuit inclusion

In latest news from Doon, the State Cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat while chairing a review meeting regarding implementation of government schemes stressed on their timely completion to ensure that the benefits reach the eligible people at the earliest. He further said that a number of temples, including Rahu Mandir Paithani, Bungkhal Kalika Mandir, Bhairav ​​Mandir Tripalisain, Tara Kund, Binsar Mahadev, Hanseshwar Mahadev Mandir and Shringi Rishi Mandir would be developed as a tourism circuit. He directed the Tourism department officers to prepare DPR for the beautification of Rahu Mandir Paithani and its routes.
Further, he asked them to prepare a coffee table book containing information about the remote temples of Pauri district so that they could also be included in the tourist map. He also directed the Culture department officers to complete the construction of the damaged wall of Devalgarh temple soon and the Tourism department officers to develop a rafting point in Srinagar.
Moreover, he directed the Horticulture department to identify farmers and provide them with polyhouses.

While reviewing the Education department, he stressed on determining the teacher-student ratio in schools.  He clarified that one teacher should be there for one to five students, two for six to 30, three for more than 30, four for more than 60 and five for more than 100 students.
