The State Tourism minister Satpal Maharaj said that the Char Dham Yatra booking has returned to normalcy after the India-Pakistan conflict was over. “Devotees from every corner of the country and even abroad are arriving and the number of visitors for other tourist places of the State is also increasing,” he said, adding that the surge in number has brought relief to those associated with the tourism sector.
He further said that around 29 lakh people have registered themselves under online and offline registration. “Besides, about eight lakh devotees have had darshan in the shrines,” he said, adding that the same enthusiasm was visible regarding the Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra which commenced on May 2 with 23,256 innerline permits being issued so far.
