In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra drawing near, the Pithoragarh district magistrate Vinod Goswami conducted an on-ground inspection along with some senior district administration officers. During the two-day inspection, he took stock of the road conditions and other facilities like drinking water, toilet and lodging meant for the pilgrims. The DM interacted with the locals at Gunji and Koti Gaon and visited the Shiva temple at Parvati Kund.
The DM said that the portals of the Shiva temple would open on May 2 while the process of receiving online applications for inner line permits would begin on April 28 and the permits would be issued on April 30.
