Indus Towers Limited, in association with Sustainable Green Initiative Foundation (SGIF), has marked an important milestone by planting 65,000 fruit bearing trees across 1,620 small and marginal farmers’ fields.
Speaking about the initiative, COO, Indus Towers Limited, Tejinder Kalra said, “At Indus Towers, we believe that environmental stewardship and community prosperity must advance together.
The plantation initiative in Chamoli is a powerful example of how scientific practices, community engagement, and sustained support can restore ecological balance while expanding income opportunities for small and marginal farmers.”
