5 Kedarkantha trekkers from Rajasthan rescued

In latest news from Uttarakhand, five trekkers from Rajasthan who had lost their way on the Kedarkantha trekking route were safely brought to Sankri with the joint efforts of Mori police station and Forest department staff. Besides, the locals also helped them in the rescue efforts. Police said that they along with the forest staff had swung into action once they received information about some trekkers having lost their way.

Informing more, the Mori police station in-charge Ranveer Chauhan said that they had first contacted the trekkers and gathered information about their exact location.  

These five trekkers had embarked on Kedarkantha trek on May 14.
