34 research projects submitted, evaluated at KU

The researchers of the Faculty of Science and Technology, under the third phase of the internal research project, presented their research projects before the Scientific and Technical Committee of Kumaun University. The university sources said that a total of 34 research projects were evaluated in this phase.
Notably, this special research-oriented scheme was taken up at the initiative of the vice- chancellor, Prof Diwan Singh Rawat which aims to empower the faculty members through research projects. This programme was organised by the research and development cell of the university.
On this occasion, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore scientist, Prof Partha Mandal was present. In his address, the VC said that there was no shortage of financial resources required for research work in the university, adding that since 2023, the number and quality of research publications in the university has been going up significantly.
