26.4 acres of land transferred for third campus of KU: VC

 Decks have been cleared for the establishment of Kumaun University’s third campus with the Uttarakhand government having transferred 26.4 acres of land in Patwadangar to the university following completion of all revenue settlement procedures. The land has been registered in the name of the university, KU officials said.   

Hailing the development, the KU vice chancellor, Diwan Singh Rawat said that the university’s third campus will be established soon. “Efforts are on to set up departments in the new campus,” he added.  He specifically thanked the chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami for extending all cooperation in the university’s academic development and expansion.
