In an attempt to bring the concept of ‘minimum government maximum governance’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on ground, the Uttarakhand government would soon launch ‘ Apani Sarkar portal (eservices.UK.gov.in). A total of 75 services provided by ten departments would be made available by a click of a mouse in the portal. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami would inaugurate the portal next week.
The state administration claims that the portal would increase transparency and make the services readily available for the general public. Equipped with many features the portal would set in place an effective monitoring system which would ensure fixing of responsibilities of the officers and employees. The monitoring system would involve employees from Patwari to District Magistrate and the chief secretary and the chief minister.
