2 Kabaddi players from U’khand selected for Youth Asian Games slated in Bahrain

Two Kabbadi players from Uttarakhand- a boy and a girl- have been selected for the Indian team for the third Youth Asian Games slated in Bahrain from October 22 to 30 being organised by the Olympic Council of Asia. Stating this, the Uttarakhand Kabaddi Association president, Mahesh Joshi said that the girl selected is Bhumika from Niranjanpur (Laksar) in Haridwar district while the boy selected is Rahul Bor from Udham Singh Nagar. “The simultaneous selection of two players from the State at the international level is a matter of pride for us,” he said.
The secretary, Uttarakhand Kabaddi Association, Chetan Joshi stated that both players would depart for Bahrain from Delhi on October 16. He added that the first Youth National Kabaddi Championship 2025 had been held in Haridwar.
