In a bureaucratic reshuffle, the State government transferred 19 Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and 11 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers on Saturday. In the transfers, the responsibility of Housing and Commissioner Housing and chief administrator- Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority was taken away from Principal secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram. He will continue to hold the charge Power, Alternative Energy, Planning and chief executive officer Haridwar- Rishikesh Ganga Corridor project and managing director of Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board. Similarly, the charge of secretary Peyjal has been removed from secretary to CM, Gopan, Information, Home and Personnel secretary Shailesh Bagauli.
Secretary Sachin Kurve has been given additional responsibility of Health, Medical Education and commissioner Health Development Project. Similarly, the charge of secretary Cooperative has been removed from BVRC Purushottam and given to Ahmed Iqbal. Secretary R Rajesh Kumar will be the new secretary Housing, Rajya Sampati, commissioner Housing and chief administrator- Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority.
The charge of secretary Secretariat Administration, Ayush and Ayush Education has been taken away from Deependra Kumar Chaudhary. Similarly, Vinod Kumar Suman has been relieved from the responsibility of secretary General Administration and project director Uttarakhand Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Project. This charge along with the responsibility of secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and commissioner Food has been given to Anand Swaroop. The responsibility of secretary Peyjal and Secretariat Administration is given to Ranvir Singh Chauhan while that of secretary Ayush and Ayush Education is bestowed on Ranjana Rajguru. The assignment of secretary Planning is given to Dev Krishan Tiwari while that of General Administration department is handed over to Rajendra Kumar. The charge of additional secretary Industries and director Government Printing press Roorkee is taken away from Umesh Narayan Pandey while additional secretary Aysuh, Dairy Development and Staff officer to chief secretary and additional chief electoral officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande has been given additional charge of Nirvachan. The CDO Nainital Anamika has been kept awaiting posting orders while the charge of additional director Urban Development and additional municipal commissioner MCD is given to Pravin Kumar.
