The Vidhan Sabha speaker Prem Chand Agrawal met the governor Baby Rani Maurya regarding preparations for the Vidhan Sabha session slated to start from September 23. He informed the governor about the preparations made for the assembly session.
During the meet which lasted for about one hour, the governor also expressed concern at the rising number of Covid-19 patients in the state and nation, and deliberated on this issue with the speaker. Maurya also appreciated Agrawal’s efforts during the lockdown for looking after the requirements of the needy. She also advised him to take special care of himself. During the meet, Agrawal also presented a publication on the conference of the presiding officers of Indian legislative bodies 2019 which was held in Dehradun.
