U’khand becoming strike state: AAP

Govt deducting salaries of workers at forefront of war on pandemic: Anand

Taking the state government to the task for pushing the doctors and nurses on the path of agitation, the Uttarakhand unit of Aam Aadami Party (AAP) has said that Uttarakhand has become a ‘strike state’ under the present regime. The state spokesperson AAP, Ravindra Anand said here on Tuesday that instead of giving incentive to the health workers who are at the forefront of war against the Covid-19 pandemic and are working without taking a single leave for months, the state government is deducting their salaries. He said that first the doctors threatened to go on strike and now the nurses are on a path of agitation. Anand said that the teachers too have not received salaries for months. He added that pathetic condition prevails in every department and everywhere the employees are threatening to go on a strike. The AAP leader said that the chief minister should come forward and inform about his plan to reverse the trend of strikes in the state.
