E flow is the minimum limit of flow required to maintain a stream or river in its desired environmental state. Singhal said that the corporation is strictly and continuously maintaining the E flow in its dams and barrages. It is estimated that the E flow limitation results in about 400 MU reduction in power generation in a year which means that in absence it the corporation would have achieved the highest ever power generation this year. Singhal said that the unique feat achieved this year by the corporation bears testimony of dedication and work efficiency of its employees. Expressing happiness over the achievement, the MD said that the success was achieved despite the prevailing pandemic of Covid-19. He exuded confidence that the employees of the corporation would create more records in future by following the work culture and dedication towards duty.
