Two people died in two separate road accidents reported on Friday two people have lost their lives. The first accident was reported in Rajpur police station, while the second was reported in Premnagar police station.
In the first case the deceased has been identified as 66-year old Kishan Chhettri. He used to work as a security guard in a nearby under construction building and was coming back from work at 6 AM. According to the information provided by Rajpur police, they received information that an unknown vehicle had hit a person walking on the road. Upon reaching there police found the victim in gravely injured condition. He was taken to the hospital, where during the treatment he succumbed to his injuries. Police are now checking the CCTV footage for the identification of the unknown vehicle.
In the second case, the deceased has been identified as 22-year old Aviral Shrivastav, a native of Kanpur. He is a third year student of LLB in a private university in Premnagar. Accoridng to the information provided by Premnagar police, they received information that a car and motorbike had a head on collision in Kandoli area, in which the motorbike rider was severely injured. The victim was taken to the Premnagar health centre, where the doctors declared him dead. Police have both the vehicles in their possession. Further actions will be taken after the arrival of the parents.
