Pundits might resettle in Kashmir in 10 yrs: Bhagwat
Considering the direction of the debate in the nation and society along with attempts being made, it seems that the Kashmiri Pundits who had migrated away from their home state would settle again in Kashmir in the next 10 years.
In foreign nations, churches are being sold and replaced by Hindu temples by the people there because gradually, people of all nations are starting to believe that the presence of Hindus and Hindu temples make the environment prosperous and peaceful.
Acceptance of the Hindu philosophy is growing across the world.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said this while interacting with educationalists including vice chancellors of universities on the third day of his four-day Dehradun visit on Thursday.
Interacting with the educationalists he spoke about the situation existing before formation of RSS, stating that the Sangh founder KB Hedgewar was a born patriot who used to participate in movements for independence and revolutionary activities.
Replying to a question, he said that Hindu society works with balance between community and nature as such balance is a basic of Hindu philosophy.
Some people understand that “Hindu” is a philosophy while some feign ignorance despite knowing this, he said.
The RSS chief added whereas followers of other beliefs were persecuted in other nations across the world, they were treated with equality in Hindu society.
The followers of Islam in India sing Qawwali. This is because their ancestors were Hindus who used to sing Bhajans out of devotion for god.
They chose the same medium on adopting Islam, said Bhagwat. Stating that Hindus and Hindutva view the whole world as one family, he said that in Hindu religion people have varied beliefs but their life philosophy is one.
Responding to another question, he said that Indian native cows are an important basis of the economy.
Apart from providing milk, the dung and urine of cows is not only use in agriculture but is also known to have medicinal properties. Research is underway at various places in India and abroad on cow dung and urine, he added.
“Bharat-India-Hindustan are one but our identity is Bharat which is why whichever language we speak, it is better to call the nation Bharat. India is not a name given by us,” said the RSS chief.
