PM Modi to address public rally at Rudrapur on March 28
Senior leaders to address rallies in all constituencies from March 23 to 26
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a public rally at Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar district on March 28. Earlier, on March 23, 24 and 26 chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and senior party leaders will be addressing public rallies in various parts of the state.
According to the Bharatiya Janata Party state office, ahead of polling for the Lok Sabha elections, the prime minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in the State on March 28. He is slated to address a large public rally at Rudrapur. In addition to the prime minister’s rally, public rallies will also be addressed by senior party leaders from March 23 to 26 in various parts of the state.
The BJP State media in-charge Devendra Bhasin informed that preparations have been started for public rally to be addressed by the prime minister Narendra Modi at Rudrapur. Bhasin further informed that the BJP has decided to hold 500 public rallies across the nation on March 24 and 26 as part of which large public rallies will be held at more than half a dozen locations in Uttarakhand. These public rallies will be spread across the five Lok Sabha constituencies in the state and be addressed by chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Union minister Thaawar Chand Gehlot, BJP State in-charge Shyam Jaju and former chief minister and MP Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
The chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will address public rallies on March 23 at Okhalkanda in Bhimtal and Betalghat, on March 24 at Tanakpur, Gauchar and Jwalapur and on March 26 at Deghat in Salt, Purola and Sahaspur. Further, on March 24, the party’s State in-charge Shyam Jaju will address a public rally at Gauchar in Chamoli district while former CM and Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar MP Bhagat Singh Koshyari will address a public rally at Sitarganj in Udham Singh Nagar district. On March 26, Union minister Thaawar Chand Gehlot will address a public rally in Karnpur area of Dehradun which falls under the Tehri parliamentary constituency while Shyam Jaju will address a rally in the Dharmpur area of Dehradun which falls under the Haridwar parliamentary constituency.
The BJP State media in-charge further informed that public rallies will also be held on the day when party candidates file their nomination. Senior party leaders will also participate in these rallies.
