Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the whole nation is with its Prime Minister Narendra Modi in facing various challenges. He said this after listening to the PM’s Mann ki Baat programme on Sunday.
Rawat opined that every citizen is dedicated to the nation. “Under the PM’s leadership, the nation is fighting successfully against the Covid-19 pandemic. Correct decisions taken at the right time by the PM enabled the authorities to keep the pandemic under check. The year 2020 is a year of challenges but we will mark a victory over these challenges. Our brave soldiers have proved with their valour that nobody can eye our nation. The entire nation salutes the sacrifice they have made for protecting the country. This is the time to boost the morale of our soldiers and support them,” said the CM. Rawat further said that creativity of the people will help build a self reliant India. The aim of the people should be to be vocal for local. The nation will continue to move forward while facing all challenges, he said.
CM supports Swadeshi products drive
Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat joined the Swadeshi Swavalambhan Abhiyan digital campaign of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch. Rawat made his digital signature to lend his support to the campaign aimed at boycotting foreign products and adopting Indian products.
Rawat said that citizens will have to encourage Swadeshi products to ensure success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign. It is important for the people to become self reliant, he added.
It should be mentioned here that the Swadeshi Jagran Manch is undertaking a public awareness campaign to encourage Indian products and boycott Chinese products.
