‘Mann Ki Baat’: Uttarakhand BJP distributes radios among party workers
‘Similar distribution would be held in every booth’ – Ajay Bhatt
Uttarakhand has probably become the first state in the country where BJP workers have been provided with radio sets to listen to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a ceremony organized at the state party office on Saturday, the state BJP president Ajay Bhatt distributed radios among the block presidents of Dehradun district. In his address, Bhatt said that similar programmes would be held in all 228 mandals of the state in the coming days. He further said that a programme where radios would be distributed at all the 11000 booths spread across the state would also be held in near future.
The state BJP president said that millions of countrymen derive inspiration from ‘ Mann Ki Baat’ of PM Modi and take the pledge to walk on the path shown by him. Taking pot-shots at the previous governments, Bhatt said that had they worked with honesty and sincerity with which Modi is working now the country would have scaled dizzy heights of all-round development.
The state party general secretary and the deputy chairman of the 20- point programme implementation committee Naresh Bansal gave a detailed account of PM’s Mann Ki Baat programme and the radio distribution scheme initiated by the state BJP unit.
The programme was attended among others by Cant MLA Harbans Kapur, mayor Dehradun Sunil Uniyal Gama, Rajpur MLA Khajan Das and BJP leaders- J P Gairola, Anil Goyal and Baljeet Soni. Read more posts…
