Indiresh Hospital joins hands with KMC cancer institute
Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dehradun and K M C Cancer Institute, Meerut have made a joint initiative for the treatment of the cancer patients. Under this initiative, the Cancer patients from Uttarakhand and nearby states would be benefitted, informed the medical superintendent of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dr. Vinay Rai on Thursday.
He further said that the hospital caters to a countless number of patients from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and some other states. “We have acted on the people’s request to start a facility for the Cancer patients,” he said.
“The Cancer Research Institute project of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital is meant for the future. The management of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and K M C Cancer Institute will be treating the Cancer patients jointly,” he said.
Providing more information on the imitative, he said that with the help of both the institutions, the Cancer patients would be sent to KMC Cancer Institute for Radiotherapy and PET-SCAN.
“We are happy to announce that free ambulance service would be provided to the patients from Shri Mahant Hospital to the Cancer patients. The patients to be sent by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital would be treated at K M C Cancer Institute at discounted rates.
Besides, the attendants of the patients would be provided accommodation at discounted rates to stay over there,” Dr. Rai added. read more posts…
