The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna (HNB) Garhwal University has postponed the examinations of the final year students. The examination was earlier slated to start from September 10. The central university has not declared the new schedule for the examination. The decision to postpone the examination of the final year students was taken in a meeting of the officials of the university with the Vice Chancellor (VC). The registrar of the university N S Panwar said that the students would be informed about the new dates at least 15 days before the start of the examinations. More than 41000 students would participate in the final year examination of the HNB Garhwal University this year. Out of these students about 5000 students are from other states. After the imposition of lockdown and closure of universities in March this year, these students had returned to their respective states.
