DSCL invites participants to wall painting competition
The walls of the government buildings in Dehradun’s Yamuna Colony have been marked for Doon Rangotsav wall painting competition being organised by Dehradun Smart City Limited (DSCL).
The purpose of the competition is to beautify the walls and to promote civic participation in such activities. Pictures related to cultural heritage, wildlife and tradition of Uttarakhand will be painted on the walls by the participants in this competition.
A format of an online form has been prepared by DSCL. People who want to participate in this competition can apply online by filling these forms. The last date to fill the form is December 9, 2019.
Participants will begin painting the walls from November 30 and will wind up on December 27. The competition will conclude on January 1, 2020.
It is compulsory to fill Google forms in order to register one self. A minimum of five and maximum of 15 participants must be there for each wall painting. The participants will have to bring their own materials for painting. Also, they it is mandatory to paint in accordance with the theme set by competition organiser. The designs not in accordance with the given themes or found to be negative or obscene will be disqualified. A committee of experts will be constituted to select the winner of the competition.
