Terming the 100 days of Narendra Modi Government at Centre as disappointing for Uttarakhand, the vice-president of Uttarakhand Congress, Surya Kant Dhasmana, has said that the Government has proved to be failure on all fronts. He said that the people of the country had reposed full faith in Narendra Modi and handed over a big majority to him in Parliament with high hopes but in last 100 days, the Modi Government has dashed all the hopes of people. Dhasmana said that the 100 days of Governance has disappointed the unemployed, youth, industrial sector and the farmers. The Congress leader claimed that the unemployment is at its peak of last 50 years and the employment opportunities are shrinking regularly instead of increasing.
He added that the real estate sector has got completely devastated due to which lakhs have been rendered unemployed.
The automobile sector too is under the impact of recession and the automobile major Maruti has enforced shutdown for the first time since it was established.
Dhasmana said that the international prices of crude are on a downslide but in India the prices of petrol and diesel are constant. He claimed that the prices of diesel and petrol are higher than the time when the crude prices were just double than that of now.
Launching an acrid attack on the Union Government the Congress leaders said that instead of taking measures to tackle recession, the Government took out Rs 1.76 lakh thousand crores from the RBI which is usually kept for emergency.
