In latest news from Uttarakhand, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the promo and posters of the feature film ‘Pahadi Ratna Sridev Suman’ in New Delhi. Remembering gratefully the legendary revolutionary on his death anniversary, the CM said that the people would be acquainted with the saga of inspirational leadership and supreme sacrifice his life embodies as this film is based on his life and works. “He represents the indomitable spirit of man to fight social injustice and authoritarian rule,” he said, adding that he bore the inhumane oppression unleashed on him with unflagging equanimity while remaining committed to the truth he espoused. “He was a revolutionary, intellectual, writer, journalist and a leader with far-sighted vision, all rolled into one,” Dhami said.
