Terming the virtual rally of the Congress a flop, the Bharatiya Janata Party opined that though the Congress imitated the BJP but neither its workers nor the people wanted to listen to the Congress.
BJP State vice president and media in-charge Devendra Bhasin, referring to the Congress’ virtual rally said that it was a flop show. He said, “The Congress imitated the virtual rallies held by the BJP but the effort flopped due to shortage of party workers and the apathy of the public. If the Congress disagrees, it should release official data regarding it.”
Rejecting the allegations leveled at the State government by the Congress leaders, Bhasin said that the Congress leaders are daydreaming when they claim that their party will form the next government in Uttarakhand. The State government under chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and BJP under its state president Banshidhar Bhagat are performing effectively and strongly. It will be a big achievement if the Congress leaders are able to gather their scattered forces and able to save even their current position given the number of their MLAs. There is something wrong with party leaders if they are unable to see the development taking place in the state. However, the public is watching it all and is with the BJP, added Bhasin.
