Raturi said the party workers would also register their protest on setting up development authorities in all parts of the state due to which people in rural areas have been left to the mercy of officials even for small construction. The Congress leader attacked the state government for deteriorating law and order condition in the state and rampant corruption. Former MLA, Rajkumar said that in the elections of urban local bodies the BJP had promised that it would regularize the slum dwellings but no action on it has been taken as yet. He alleged that the authorities have failed to remove slit from Rispana and Bindal rivers before monsoon.
