Stumped by the success of the BJP’s Trishakti Sammelan in Dehradun, the Congress leaders are disturbed and making illogical statements targetting the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, opined the BJP state unit. According to the BJP, the Congress and other opposition parties are feeling insecure due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The BJP State media in-charge, Devendra Bhasin, said that the Congress leaders in Uttarakhand have opined that the Prime Minister is feeling afraid due to the Congress national president Rahul Gandhi which is nothing more than an odd joke.
This only goes on to show the frustration of Congress leaders. He further said that in reality, the Congress and other opposition parties are feeling afraid due to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the reason why those with opposing ideologies who were strong critics of each other have now joined hands and are trying to stand together with the sole aim of removing Modi.
As far as the Congress national president Rahul Gandhi is concerned, even the opposition parties are not taking him seriously.
This is the reason why the Congress is not being accorded importance in the so called coalition in Uttar Pradesh and other States. Bhasin further opined that the success of the Trishakti Sammelan held in Dehradun had made the Congress in Uttarakhand restless.
The 17,468 booth level workers of BJP from Tehri and Haridwar Lok Sabha constituencies attending the event, addressed by BJP national president, Amit Shah, only reaffirms the wave in support of the party, he averred.
He said that Congress leaders tried to disrupt the programme by conspiring and sending Youth Congress workers to the programme venue which is not only condemnable but also shows the frustration of the Congress.
Challenging the Congress, Bhasin said that the Congress party would not be able to gather even half the number of those who attended the Trishakti Sammelan even if it gathered its booth level workers from five Lok Sabha constituencies. The Congress is scattered, as is evident from its Parivartan Yatra which is turning out to be a flop, opined Bhasin.
PM may visit U’khand on Feb 14
Though the programme is yet to be finalised, BJP state media in-charge Devendra Bhasin informed that there is a possibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting Uttarakhand on February 14. In a statement issued to the media, he said that the programme details are being worked out and finalised. It is possible that on February 14, the prime minister may visit Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar district and attend some programme to be held there on the occasion.
