BJP confident of resounding win
Having cast his vote along with his wife and daughter in Dehradun, the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat congratulated all the voters and officials for peaceful conduct of polling in the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party State president Ajay Bhatt expressed confidence stating that the party candidates would win from all the five constituencies in the State.
In his message in the evening, the chief minister congratulated all the voters and officials deployed on election duty for successfully conducting the polls peacefully. He congratulated the officers and employees on election duty along with the security forces for peaceful and fair conduct of voting in the Lok Sabha election. Earlier, in the morning, Rawat along with his wife and daughter cast vote at the polling booth in DAV public school in Defence Colony.
After the polling, the BJP State president Ajay Bhatt opined that the public had expressed faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated, “It is clear from the public trend that the BJP candidates will win on all the five constituencies in the State.” Bhatt also thanked the public, the election machinery and BJP workers for peaceful polling across the state. In a statement issued to the media, the BJP State president opined that considering the trend, it was clear that the party candidates would achieve a resounding victory on all seats in the state. Similarly, in other states too the BJP and its coalition partners would achieve victories to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of India for a second term. He further stated, “The public completely rejected the misinformation spread by the Congress and other opposition parties. Expressing their trust in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people accorded more importance to issues like nationalism, security of the nation, development and action against corruption.”
