To hold bhoomi pujan on Parade Ground ahead of Trishakti Sammelan
Carrying on preparations for the planned visit of its national president Amit Shah for the Trishakti Sammelan in Dehradun on February 2, the Bharatiya Janata Party formed various committees to look into various aspects of the programme. Further, it was also decided that a bhoomi pujan ceremony too will be held on the programme venue- Parade Ground on January 30.
The BJP national president is slated to address a gathering of about 17,500 comprising mostly booth level workers of the party from Tehri and Haridwar Lok Sabha constituencies during the Trishakti Sammelan in Dehradun. Senior party leaders are also expected to attend the event. To ensure success of the event, not only has the party formed various committees but is also planning to hold bhoomi pujan at Parade Ground on Wednesday morning. The BJP state vice president Jyoti Gairola presided over a meeting in the party state office here on Monday in which the programme coordinator Naresh Bansal announced the formation of various committees. The BJP State media in-charge Devendra Bhasin informed that committees formed for the programme include city decoration committee, bhoomi pujan committee, committees for parking facility, food arrangement, registration and welcome, stage arrangement and decoration, VVIP facilitation, sanitation, media and social media. The Dehradun mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’, party’s city in-charge Vinay Goyal, State office secretary Pushkar Singh Kala along with office bearers and workers of the party were among those who attended the meeting.
It should be mentioned here that booth level workers of the party from 28 Assembly constituencies falling in the Tehri and Haridwar Lok Sabha constituencies will be addressed by Shah at the Trishakti Sammelan in Dehradun on February 2.
