A national competition for managers (NCM) on the theme ‘Innovative Organisation in the Face of Digitalisation and Disruption’ was organised by All India Management Association (AIMA) during which a team of managers from BHEL Haridwar comprising Anjali Sharma and Tuhin Mitra won the first runners-up prize in the finals of the prestigious event.
The national level managerial combat is a symbolic event of AIMA being conducted on yearly basis for which teams from many technological giants compete. The finale which was attended by many high-level corporate executives across the nation consisted of 12 teams from both the public and the private sector companies. It is noteworthy that the team from BHEL Haridwar clinched the first position in the regional level competition held in New Delhi.
BHEL Haridwar sources said that the fiercely contested finale was adjudged by Vivek Mehta, CEO and MD, Sage Publications India, Prabhu Aggarwal, former chief learning Officer, JSPL and Jaskiran Arora of BML Munjal University. The event was attended by many officials and dignitaries who were also encouraging their respective teams to perform at the event, the BHEL sources added.
Executive director, BHEL Haridwar from HEEP unit Sanjay Gulati congratulated the team on its achievement. This team was initially selected by Haridwar Management Association by conducting local level competitions, he added.
