Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana review Asha workers enrolled to distribute golden cards
The health department has roped in Asha workers for making and distributing golden cards of Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana. The department has undertaken a special campaign to make the golden cards of the AAUY from November 25 to December 25. While undertaking a review of the Asha programme, at health directorate on Tuesday, the mission director (MD) of National Health Mission (NHM), Yugal Kishore Pant said that the special campaign should be made successful with the help of Asha workers. He said that visits of the Asha workers to the villages related to them should be continuously monitored and reviewed so that the people can get their real benefit. The director administration of AAUY, Dr Abhishek Tripathi said that 11651 Asha workers and 606 Asha facilitators would be involved in the campaign to prepare golden cards. The department has also decided to provide financial encouragement to these workers.
