In view of increasing Covid-19 positive cases in Dehradun district, the district magistrate Ashish Kumar Srivastava ordered to reserve over 300 beds in three hospitals on Tuesday.
The DM issued orders to reserve 37 beds including 30 oxygen supported beds in Herbertpur located Lehman Hospital, 230 beds including 210 oxygen supported beds at Subharti hospital in Jhajhra and 37 beds including 30 beds at Kalindi Hospital in Kalsi till further orders. He also directed the officials of the health department to speed up the vaccination process and the sample testing of Covid-19.
Srivastava informed that a total of 7,072 samples were sent for the Covid-19 test and the administration penalised 771 people for violating Covid-19 guidelines across the district.
